On Real Racing 3, it's launched about a week ago, and everyday you get a few goals you have to complete to advance to the next tier.

It's pretty cool, all you need to start is one of the starter cars, and some spare coins to stick at least one vinyl on it, and if you win sponsors will lend you cars, keep winning and you'll keep the cars for free and be lent new, faster ones, not to mention you get 10 or so coins for every set of goals you complete. Since day one, I already won 23 coins and a Dodge Viper SRT, and I think completing today's goals will get me a 911 GT3 Cup car for free.

Has the 'freemium' aspect of this game gotten better or worse?

It's the same I guess... I didn't catch it right at the start, where you had to fix damage after every race and it took forever, but you still have to service your car between every few races. I haven't had problems advancing, and I still haven't paid them a cent. Give Road to Le Mans a try, as long as you win, you get free things.

so much worse. Its impossible to enjoy. I would rather pay 6-7$ for a decently made game than have to shell out $1 a day to play the amount I want. Its a horrible system

One of the reasons why I can't get into mobile gaming. And to think people were phrophesying the end of gaming consoles around the time the iPad 3 launched.
